didn't really know where to put this so if the admins want to move it ..feel free...ok saw this on another site never heard of them before....basically its a beef meatball wrapped with bacon and the rubbed and smoked...thought i would try it out...really good ..i seasoned the meat with my rub mixture , then made some meatballs wrapped in bacon and then more rub..smoked at 250 for 2 hours or so and voila done...like i said really good and my kids tore thru them i barley got 2pcs....this will probably be a staple in my future smokes.....

Cool! As long as the kids are in it you are teaching the way!

I remember seeing those somewhere else too. Sure do look good. I'll make some up for my next smoke.

Great job :thumb:

I've done them before but used a bit of a different recipe on them. I used ground beef, ground pork and ground lamb as well as some other fixins to make the meatballs.

Moinkballs are awesome :thumb:

Aren't MOINKS just the greatest way to get the kids involved? I have been making them for years and just learned in the last year they had an official name. That was about the time my 5 year old grandson got involved with making them and not eating them. He changed them again. He pokes a hole and stuffs some cheese in there, pinches it over and then the bacon goes on.:thumb:
