  • 14 briskets for last nights allnighter

My allnighter was last night. I had to smoke this for tomorrow night's church dinner, so if I had done it tonight, it wouldn't be done in time, and I'd never make it through the sermon.
I am in the process of slicing these up right now, so I took a couple of pics to show you.
I actually did do 15, but 1 of them is for us and it is from the longhorn/angus steer we had killed a month or so ago. No mustard, just rubbed. All of these were packers that I separated before the rub.
Here's ours. It's a little lean, but very good and what a smoke ring.

And another pic of the same one.

Here is one for the church dinner

And here it is sliced up.

I'll try to get pics from the dinner, even if they are barfing.
This was a great day to smoke. Nice weather, smoker was on its best behavior, windy, but couldn't have bought a better day.
