    smokin on fathers day...what did you expect

    Nothin special here...Just a quiet Sunday smoke...Me and Mamma hangin around the house...Race is on but nobody is watching...

    Its only 101 degrees out so it was a great day for tending the fire

    Loaded up the longhorn with 3 racks of hunky rubbed back ribs...some skinless chicky thighs and a couple kinds of sausages to eat later in the week...


    My first serving...Some oven roasted spuds and a fresh fruit salad round out the meal...


    My son and one of his missfit friends stopped by for supper so that was cool...Man those young-uns can eat some Q...
    My daughter called from Texas and all is well...
    Just had a great day...Thanks to all...

    And thanks for lookin at my food

      Right nice! Don't wanna talk about the heat! Laid my happy self in the pool with Natty's & had the race on the garage TV! Yesterday was fried chicken!

            Theyre store bought since Im not a sausage maker...yet...I think Lena is starting to come around
            One was a jalepeno sausage (imagine that) and the other was a new one from Johnsonville...Chicken with apple...Havent tried them yet...I dont like cooked apples so Lena will get to eat those...
