Okay, just trying out the pics to see if they work. This is the meat that will go on Saturday on the new smoker. Maybe even some other stuff.
From what I've seen for prices, it sure looks like my brisket is over the top. In fact it is only the flat. The place I bought it from is well known for having excellent meats in Green Bay. Well lets see if I can avoid ruining them. As I've said before, never cooked brisket.
More pics to follow of "Laquisha" doing her thing.

$6.29 a lb. for brisket? At that price you should have gotten the complimentary reach around.
Aye Caramba. And yes the picks look good

Yep, after reviewing prices that most have posted, I definitely get the award for buying the most expensive. I never bought it before so I really didn't know what to expect. Then I came across prices on here and thought, "Holy Smokes!" This smoke is gonna really be an expensive run. Oh well, like I said in another post, the wife wasn't there to hit me upside the head when I went on my shopping spree.

That's the price our big chain grocery stores are charging like Jewel, Dominick's. I go to a restaurant supply store in New Muenster, WI and pay under $3 a lb.
