  • A Michigan April Monday

Soo here's what I woke up to. That, and no alarm clock. Or water. Or ..well, no power. I'm online via the Honda 2200 watt generator.

Anyway... what to do? Gotta hang out and take care of the fridge/freezers, and I got a good deal on a couple chuckies yesterday. And had a full fifth of James B. Beam.

    A peek early on...

Used my rub modified for beef... added thyme and rosemary. For a base I used worchestshire, soy, brown sugar, J.B.B., and balsamic vinegar.

The mop is brown sugar, JBB, red wine and balsamic.

Had to put the blankie on the WSM to keep her at-ish 250°

points to you Rich for salvaging a relatively crappy day. When I lived in Traverse City, a day like that would mean snowmobilin'. But then that's how we got to work almost everyday during the winter.

Our beaches here are known for white sand.

Just kidding Rich. I've done it myself a time or 2, but don't tell anybody.

Rich, probably the same storm that blew through here over the weekend. Our spring is turning out to be the winter we didn't really have at least on the front range.
