    For you east MI folks. I'm going.


    Just over Thirty (30) Days until the 2nd Annual South Macomb BBQ Cook-Off & U.S.M.A. Car Show at Gratiot Auto Center in Roseville. We are expecting a much larger crowd this year than we had last year with all the exposure we have had. $500.00 Cash for the “Best BBQ Ribs”, $250.00 for second and Trophies for the “Best Cars”. Send in your BBQ Cook-Off entry form in with your $50.00 entry fee as space is limited. Also there are still a few Vendor spots available if you would like to set up a 10’x10’ display amongst the Custom Cars & BBQ “Pitmasters”.     Our Event:
    Do you like to Cook, Watch and or Eat Bar-B-Que?
    Then you need to attend the 2nd Annual South Macomb County BBQ Cook Off Contest & Car Show. Bring your folding camping chair, suntan lotion and stay all day lots to see, eat and enjoy.

    On Saturday July 30, 2011 come out and cheer on your favorite "Pit-Master" in the BBQ Rib contest. Cooking starts at 7am, Judging will start at 2pm and the Awards will be given out at 3:30pm for the title of "Best BBQ Ribs" in South Macomb County.

    The event is "Free" to attend and "Free" to watch, if you would like to join in the cook off contest there is a $50.00 entry fee with a $500.00 1st place cash prize and $250.00 for 2nd place. Space is limited so for more info send an email to: SMBBQ@live.com

              Glad to see more Que joints coming out up there.

                              Not really, Lee. Maybe 5 grams each slab of brown sugar at foil. Sauce had a bit of sweet... and for me to say that, not much. Judges came and talked to me and loved the little heat and little sweet.

                              Was almost unanimous. Closest other was 10 points away, with 1 point between 2nd and third.
