I am making cheesecake today in honor of National Cheesecake Day! Actually, I did not know there was a special day for cheesecake, but I'll take it! Trying to decide what topping. Yumm. I've posted this pic before, it's just so purdy. This one had vanilla peach and fresh blueberries.

Well, I got me cheesecake done and in the fridge last night in honor of cheesecake day. Got'er all purdied up this morning. I went with a triple cherry topping made by Chukar Cherries out of Prosser, Washington. Any of you WA boys familiar with them? They are pricey $14.99 a jar but by far the best I have tasted. Not even comparable to the canned stuff at the store. I buy this stuff by the case, because I sell my cheesecakes and my customers love this stuff.
Guess what Squirrel had for breakfast! Thanks for looking!!
Got me a sugar buzz going.

Cheese cake for the little lady...We used to make a pina colada cheesecake at the firehouse that came out real nice, with a pineapple topping and some rum in it.
I'll rummage around and see if I can find that recipe somewhere.
ON EDIT...shoot...the points police won't let me give em to you...IOU Squirrel

And I just made an eclair cake this evening.
I'd would'a made a cheese cake had I known. I got a can of Lucky Leaf
Cherries Jubilee just to do that with. Sigh.
