First smoke on my new toy was a spatchcocked chicken, rubbed with butter, a basic poultry rub, and garlic. The ribs were famous daves rib rub, browns sugar, all misted with apple juice. The abt's were just basic, nothing special, but I think the store had no heat japs by mistake, because these just tasted like a bell pepper, not heat at all, but very good. It got up to over 100 degrees that day, and had alittle trouble with temp control, chicken got a little black, but was still very juicy and delicious. New grills always take a little time to figure out.

I agree, you have to use a new smoker a couple times to see what it'll do and how it'll work for you. Looks like this one works well. :thumb:
