  • Mulberry?

I have a few way-overgrown mulberry trees. I have been hacking at them to get them down when I have the time. Tired of the purple bird chit on my house! Anyone tried smoking with it? If so do you need to remove the bark and brush off all the dirt/dust underneath? How long is too long to season? I have some cut up from a couple years ago.

It's fine. Use the old stuff if it's not rotting.

Did you read the "stuck" post at the top of this forum?

Mulberry is my favorite fruit wood of all...cherry next...

Dont worry bout the bark...its thin and burns away quickly...

Have used mulberry that was well over two years seasoned...

Round here mulberry is like a weed that you cant get rid of....
