  • Merry Christmas To Me!

Got this Roma food strainer for Christmas last year and now I finally got to break it in.

Did up a 25 lb box of tomatoes using the juice screen that came with the unit. All you need to do is wash and quarter the tomatoes and then into the hopper.

Made quick work of the maters. Pulp slides into the bowl and the seeds, core and skin shoot out the end of the screen.

Cooked the pulp down a little but next time I'll reduce it a lot more to a thick sauce consistancy.

Ended up with 10 qts. Next on the list is salsa!

Definitely cool! Certainly beats doing it by hand. Nice looking sauce.

Worked really well. I'm impressed with it so far. Salsa next, then V8 and then the spag sauce! I'm gonna need more jars.
