  • Ranchers Reserve Beef Cup

Didn't expect this, but we managed to take second in the Ranchers Reserve cup this last weekend at the Dillon Colorado "BBQ at the summit". I am really proud of my team, as they have been an incredible help to me. We also took 7th in ribs out of 66 teams, but the real high for the event was the Ranchers Reserve catagory. Trust me when I say I went way outside the box with this one and entered what I am calling "Beef Sushi" and no, there was no raw beef or fish included

Thank You to the gang for your support!

The cut was a Top Sirloin roast. Had to be cooked whole, but after it was cooked it was game on. only rule was that it had to fit in the 9 by 9.

Ok so no full ingrediant list for now, but this is what they looked like. I am sure you can guess what a couple are. I also used my Beef and Shoulder rub when I cooked the roast, and a little shake on the inside along with 7 other ingrediants. Planning on using this in an anything butt catagory at our next contest. Amazing texture and layered flavors.
