  • Surf & Turf on the drum

Not sure where to post this... feel free to move it if needed.

I smoked some ribeyes, crab legs and potatoes for company yesterday.

I put the tatoes on first....for about 15 to 20 minutes...
    then added the ribeyes.

    Added some crab legs...

When I felt the ribeyes had enough smoke, I seared them over a fire...

The ribeye with morels, crab legs, potato, salad and garlic butter...

The steaks and legs came out pretty tasty.
Thanks for checking out my Easter dinner. :)

Thank you Pete, Keith, Erain, Mike and Lou!
Pete, I saw your last smoke and have not stopped drooling yet!
Keith, it was kind of an odd Easter dinner, but oh well. :)

lol Erain, these morels were still from last years stash. I have about a handfull left. You know I put those on the plate just to torture you. lol J/K
                  Mike, thank you!!
Lou, that crab in the butter was the first thing to go. lol
I'll have to admit, I couldn't eat everything on the plate, but I gave it a good try. :)

                    1. You're in Oklahoma.

                    2. You have that ugly burnt orange coozie! ;)

Seriously though- looks delicious. And I hate the Sooners. Even though I live in FL, I grew up in OK, and am currently in distance ed. Grad school at Ok. State.
lol I'm afraid I do not watch many sports. :)
My darned Texas friends brought that coozie to me and I sure catch heck about it.

Good luck with Grad school...that sounds great!
                    Thanks!

WRONG!!!! Not enough crab legs or shrooms. But I do agree that it looks great. I'll be hitting the shrooms soon, if it ever stops raining. Tomorrow perhaps.
