  • custom built trailer mounted reverse flow thing of wonder and beauty

This is the smoker I started nearly a year ago. it was abandoned at my home church in taampa fl. It was a home made belly burner with a 500 gal tank. the fire box was totally rusted out and the trailer was as bad as anything ever built.

I drug the thing up to Ga where my cousin is a welding instructer. He did all the fab work for me. It is great to have family.

Another friend of mine in Tampa painted it with the same paint Lang uses.
I loaded it up and moved to Wa state.

This is the first time I have been able to cook on it. I seasoned it last month.

well now to the good stuff, here are the pics.

We cut dowm the tank to 6 feet long. It is a Lang clone, reverse flow. i love this thing.
today for the first run I did chicken thighs a naked fatty and 2 slabs untrimmed spare ribs. I will be sitting down to dinner shortly.

the ribs and chicken were very good. I was pleased with the fire control. I used oak that was grown locally. it was planted in 1904
