  • Smoked Bacon Cheese Burgers with Cowgirls Fried taters

My smoked bacons cheeseburgers, with curly's recipe of her taters.

i put the taters on first..........for about a hour

taters done..........i wanted em to rest after smoking, to firm up abit to help with ease of slicing em

Next the burgers...........sprinkled with a brinkmans spicy rub

these take about a hour, hour and a half...........bout 20-30 minutes in, I put the bacon in to smoke

    bacon done.......bout 40 minutes

cheese added to the burgers, after melting to the perfect point.....taken off the smoker

sliced up the taters, and used a fry magic for the batter.........fried em till golden brown

    plated with a onion roll.........yummmmmmmm

    the perfect smoke ring

i had a HECK of a time, with the temps, doing the taters, so they didn't get done.........should of maybe went 2 hours on em...........BUT, we had plenty of left overs on the spuds...........the next day, heated em up in the oven, they was PERFECT !...........so will keep this in mind, for doing a bunch of em up ahead of time, freeze em, for later meals.......just heat em up in the oven.......better than any store bought taters to be done in the oven !

let us not cry because we lost someone, but let us smile because we enjoyed their company for what time was allowed us!
