      Hey,, thanks guys, I'm pretty new to this smoking deal, so far I have smoked a fatty, a pork butt and some ABT's, my wife wanted me to take some pic's of the stuff but I was more worried about it turning out,for my first smoke it wasn't too bad, lot's of room for improvement, I really do enjoy this site, the info is great, on my next smoke I'll take some pic's

        Picts are good..but flavor is better...

        Hey..what's yer weapon of choice? Gasser? Charcoal?

            I ended up with an electric, MES,like I said I've only used it a couple times, but so far so good, thinking of doing an chuck roast this weekend

                    welcome to the site 9, most of our wives laugh at pics of smoked food, your 1 step ahead of us already. Good to have another midwesterner here.
                    Hope that chuck smoke turns out nice for ya. Plenty of good folks here to help ya through if ya need it.
                    Plan ahead is good, overthinkin it is unecessary!

                      Welcome aboard, like Cap't Dan said, and in my case, the Mrs thought it was pretty funny when I was taking pictures of stuff. Now, she doesn't laugh and asks when I'm doing the next smoke.

                      As it turns out, she's making a grocery store run for some homemade meatballs on Saturday, Moink Ball style.
