  • More Salsa.... Vinegar Included With Great Reviews

Tried some of Craigs (SMOKE FREAK) salsa last time & it was really good & has no vinegar included. I wanted to at least try one with vinegar to see what it was like. It tasted ok before canning, but not fresh like Craigers does with the lime. Here's the link if you want to try it..... I still got tomatoes turning red, so gotta use em up somehow.

Still canning AND ya still got maters? Damn, heavy frost put an end to all gardening here. Salsa looks good. Seems like no matter how much I make, it never lasts till the next harvest

Looks great, Scott. Glad to see you're still canning. We froze four more freezer boxes (quarts) of pasta sauce today made from Walle's garden tomatoes.

Does he know you used them ?

Just don't have the storage space to have ago at mass canning.
Once we've made jams, jellies, plum sauces and the odd experiment I come up with - just no shelf space.

But do love seeing all the stuff you guys do

So which recipe would you say is best? I would love to put up some salsa. I have access to as many maters as I can handle. Think this would be a great idea. Thanks.
                            Stay thirsty my friends!!

I like Craigs (SMOKE FREAK) a little better personally. His uses lime juice to up the PH for canning/storage instead of vinegar & it has a fresher taste to me. Both are good.... I did put a lot of jalapenos in the vinegar one & it's pretty hot ..... And went a little milder on Craigers.....

Here's a link to Craigs salsa
