L20A 10-10-2011, 08:39 PM I cooked a couple of yardbirds on the grill, sort of spur of the moment, so no time to brine. I hunkified them inside & out & slow cooked 'em indirect. One was spatchcocked & the other was beer can. They came out very nice but the rub flavor really didn't get into the meat. I thought maybe injecting the MH brine could improve 'em, but I don't know what is in the brine & usually you have to rinse off brine before cooking. So, I thought maybe I shouldn't inject the brine. |
