  • my first jerky

    from kits so forgive me.couple nice priced top rounds & i trimmed them. heres pics of the first 3/4 lbs of 6lbs.




    brink vertical charcoal(the carp)
    18" old smokey charcoal grill/smoker
    cast iron Hibachi
    22" Kettle w/ "Smoke-EZ" styled riser extension
    & rotisserator
    12x7 wells cargo vending trailer(mods in progress)
    stuffer,slicer & more carp than i can fit in it...
    Marshall amps & various awesome guitars,drums,P.A.,etc.recording studio.....

      hey rich.. that was the oven done ....i awoke @4:30 am- took me until 3pm to get a beer & sack to brave the cold & smoke... more to come....:)

        That looks great for the first attempt. It'll only get better now. Play around with it, tweak it. Try sprinkling with cracked pepper while it's still wet. It'll stick like glue when dried. Chop it into chunks instead of slicing.

        When you have to hide it from others, you're doing it right. Lol.

            Nothing wrong with premix kits. Its better to use them and learn than try and make your own recipe the first time and ruin $15 worth of meat.
