    Hello everyone
    I did two coho salmon in the smoker last night they turned out great used a basic salt brine no sugar dont like sweet tasting fish we caught one of the fish on Saturday and one on Sunday great weekend oh I smoked them using hickory thats all I had at the house




    Happyness is a full smoker

    Nice Huey! That's the way I like them also. My FIL just brought us a bag of smoked Coho yesterday, smoked with Vine Maple. From the Chehalis, gonna try tonight. Your fish look Great!!!

      Thanks Scott we had a great weekend on the Clearwater River we caught 3 Coho got to spend some time with the family good times

        I can only imagine how good that tastes! I've gotta try this smoked salmon gig! Just wish I could get it that fresh!

          some slammin lookin salmon for sure. you all with the dry method are slowly twistin me arm to give it a shot!!!

                      If any of y'all ever get a chance to visit Washington (The State) you owe it to yourself to check out the area that Huey lives in. It is some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen & a fisherman & hunters dream. NW Washington.
