Not the booze, but the animal. My Bro dropped one off to me Sunday. Man, they got ALOT of feathers! Bizarre story- his neighbor was out deer hunting and a doe walked up to his bait pile. He din't want to take the doe, so as he's sitting there a turkey walks up behind the deer and the deer freaks and kicks the turkey in the head. TRUE story- I cleaned and gutted the bird...not a mark on it except a broken neck! Wow.

Anyway, since I'm being whined at for no pix... I plopped it in 3/4 gallon of Mad Hunky brine this am. Took a 2.5 gallon baggie! Here's a couple pix.

Those Damn Deer...Last week a guy at work took out a deer with his Prius. Totaled the car...I asked him why didn't he just drive between the deer's legs with his little clown mobile.

Cool story Rich. Do we need to take up a collection for some photography classes?

Quick question on the brine. I usually have gallons of brine and float the bird in it. Maybe that doesn't need to happen? Just a thin layer around the bird by burping the air outta the bag?

EXACTLY! Plenty of brining power in the mix, no need for excess brine.

Hmmm, a Prius. You've just given me an idea for an electric smoker build.
