Well I did something right I woke up this mourning and she was bubbling like crazy sniffed the top of the airlock and it smells awesome.
I do have a question there is some foam that went into the airlock is this going to be ok or should I change the water in it?

I wouldn't worry about that. If you want, you can change it after the bulk of the fermentation stops otherwise if you have an active ferment going, its just gonna keep on blowing stuff into it. One thing I like to do when brewing is that instead of water in the airlock, I use cheap vodka. Sorta like a disinfectant LOL.

Sometimes, you can get a REALLY active ferment going. I have had some so active, that it clogged up the airlock and blew the stopper and everything off and sprayed the ceiling with brew.

When brewing, you always want a margin of room in your primary ferment vessel for just such a thing. Keep your eyes out for larger glass jugs. Ebay is a good source fro such things.

as long as you've got positive pressure - ie: it's pushing gas out. doesn't really matter what's in the airlock.
But the vodka idea is great

never had flavoured mead - peach mead just sounds amazing
