  • DO Fizzy Apple Cobbler

Nothing like a DO cobbler. Nothing hard about this. Didn't have a yellow cake mix on hand so I used a white one along with homemade apple pie filling. Cooked hotter than normal about 375 until it smelled done / 30-40 min. With a slab of ice cream.
I'll let the pic's do the talking...

I'd take a big slice of that for breakfast! Looks easy too.

It is super easy...hey, even I can do it! There's just something a little tastier about the food that comes out of a DO.

              Re:

This is an excellent recipe to show beginners and even use with more advanced undertakings.

Anyone serious about wanting to learn the skills of cooking with a DO should
try this as one of their first attempts.

If you use a can of fruit, you may want to add some sugar and some of that
"Minute Tapioca" as a thickener for the juice. But if you use pie filling...it's a simple open and add. I'd suggest putting a few TBspoons of butter or margarine on the bottom if you're using fruit in juice, but that's up to each individual's taste.
