Tom and Jimmys

well a couple years ago I was going ice fishing with some friends and decided to bring some thing warm and tasty to drink so I made a thermos of Tom & Jerrys but instead of using hot water I used some VERY STRONG coffee and from there the Tom and Jimmy was born...

hmmm.... drawing a blank here brother. all i can think of is the cartoon tom & jerry. so i just have to ask, whats a tom & jerry?

i am hitting the lake tomorrow, maybe i need to whip a batch up?

mixed in a coffee cup
1 jigger of brandy
1 jigger of whiskey
ad boiling water and top with tom and jerry batter
sprinkle on some fresh nutmeg and ground cinnamon
then enjoy

They sell the batter in liquor stores up here in MN when the snow starts to fly. Similar to hot buttered rum. Takes a bit of the edge off while sitting on a bucket staring at a 10" hole cut in the ice....

Dang... that sound good, I'm gonna have to take a look for some of that stuff up here in canada, shit some of our lakes are starting to freeze now, its not till January when we get out and drive on them though...
