  • Outback Chili

Decided to make some chili today and do it totally outside. The female unit didn't argue and she likes it when she's not needed for any cleanup. Got some veggies sweating in the pot, and hit the kettle with some ground chuck, 2 kinds of homemade sausage, and a small ribsteak. Not much of a step-by-step, hell we've all made chili before. Chopped up the smoked meat and added everything else. Simmered for about 3 hours. It was kinda neat doing it all outside, and the weather was cooperating.
    Thanks for looking.

It's colder than a well digger's ass out here today, so won't be doing any cooking outside. I would however, try a large bowl of your chili.

Been checking out some chili recipes for the dutch oven. Your chili looks pretty darn sweet sir. I must admit though, I like beans in me chili. It's a crop dusting hobby I have.

Actually as I have heard it is as cold as a welldigger's ass in January.

If you have ever seen a well "dug" you'd know that the poor "digger" is standing in muddy flowing water for a goodly amount of time toward the end of the process. And in January... up here... it's f'in COLD!
