  • My canned goodies from this year.

    Getting ready to install a forced air outdoor wood burner that will be piped into the basement and had to get the canned goods out. Figured I may as well dust em off and show ya all what I canned this year.

    The back row is all Tomato sauce and stewed maters & a couple mater soups. 32 jars.
    (Used approx 8 quarts of sauce so far.)
    6 Sauce for Chile Verde
    6 Chipotle Salsa (used 10 so far)
    14 reg. salsa. (Used 10 so far)
    4 Catsup
    10 Jalapeno relish
    8 Beets
    3 pickled green beans (Ate 7 so far)
    6 Red pepper jelly
    5 Kraut
    9 Green beans. (used 7 so far)
    12 pickles. (Ate 12 so far)
    4 Apple Molasses that I just canned an hour ago. Making more next week.

    Froze.
    12Q Broccoli
    4Q Brussels
    8Q Stewed maters
    6Q peas.

      Looks great. Can you send you jalapeno relish recipe? I made a green tomato relish this year and it was great. Thanks

                Dang it all to hellenback. That looks awesome. I wanted to do some pickled green beans (dilly beans?) for me bloody mary's. You rock.

                            Thanks for the nice comments everyone. It does take some time and effort but in the long run, it's worth it. It was allot of fun.

                            Yes Squirrel, these are dilly beans and they are freakin addicting as hell. I could eat a jar a night....

                              Nice garden haul! Mine sucked this year. A couple caught my eye. Jalapeno relish. Mrs. Gunslinger's recipe? Different? Red pepper jelly. Made jalapeno jelly before. Similar? Apple molasses. Do tell.
