  • BBQ Pulled Pork Pizza..Hunkified..Lots of Pics

Always looking for great recipes for left over pulled pork. Here is the bbq pulled pork pizza that I talked about when we had a post about pizza dough I believe.

I made two pizzas tonight one kid pizza then one for me!!!

    Basic pizza dough
    2 cups flour
    2 1/4 teaspoon yeast
    pinch of salt and sugar
    3/4 cup of warm water
    1 table spoon EVOO

    Mix dry ingredients in mixer.

Add water and EVOO slowly and mix for 15 minutes to form a ball. I divided into two dough balls for both pizzas.

I like to rest over night but due to a honey do list was not able to make dough last night... An hour is a must though.

I hand toss the dough to about a 15 inch crust.

Preheat oven and pizza stone to 425 degrees. Once to temp stone keep warming for 10 minutes prior to using. Then place dough on pizza stone.

I then put down a light coating of Ranch dressing (I use Kraft) I got this from a local pizza joint... it is sooooo goooooood!!

I then added a dusting of MAD HUNKY RUB!!! kick it up baby!!

Add 12 oz of Mozzarella cheese and a MANs portion of pulled pork.

Add 3 paper thin slices of uncooked fresh sweet onion rings.

    Sprinkle with cheddar!!

Place in oven and cook about about 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted. Once cheese is melted pull pizza out and add a swirl of your favorite BBQ sauce. I do this lightly because it will spread out once sauce heats up.

Put back in the oven for about 10-15 more minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.

And that is a great dinner folks. I highly recommend this one!! It is great.

Just for good measure here is the kids pizza.

Thanks for viewing and have a great night.

                    Great looking pizzas

But I do have one criticism (lol)

You say this is a man's portion of pulled pork:

So how come I can STILL SEE THE DOUGH !!!!!

That said - have some pizza , I'd polish them both off

Thanks Curious...as far as the Mans portion I sand corrected.. but what I put on is twice the meat you get at a pizza joint!!

Love this pizza! Really love the idea of the white sauce as I am a ranch lover. Like to make me own though. Love all your pizza posts! Yummy! You and Pop Pop need to open a pizza joint.
