Rememberd Hoser's thread on some smoked nuts before the Holidays and wanted to try it sometime. Today was the day.
Picked up a LB each of walnuts, brazil nuts, almonds and pecans. Melted some butter and added some worsy sauce, hot sauce, garlic and mustard powder. Added to the nuts and put in the MES for a few hours with some hickory dust.
Pulled a few hours later and dusted with some salt and some Mad Hunky. This came out really well, and vac-packed some for some friends and family.
Try this sometime if you haven't.
