  • Hey all it's Thursday.....

    Anyone have anything they are smoking this weekend?? an overnighter? what is everyone up too??

    Me I wil be smoking a butt Friday for Sat BBQ... not sure about the sides yet.. any suggestions on sides??
    but that peach cobbler is looking soooo delicioso for dessert...

    What are you all doing???

          I hear we could have some nasty weather coming this weekend... So I guess I will have to dance between the rain drops..

                Good luck Ken. I am not even going to attempt it. I fought the rain and lost this week. Another element for the Gourmet Electric down the drain. But, I'll be viewing the entries for the May Contest.

                  Got people coming over next weekend for a big smokefest so this weekend I'll probably to a "reference" rack of baby backs. Still fine tuning 'em. And I get to eat the results.

                    Up at 400 in the morning to start my brisket. So far it's looking good. It's threating for rain, and is pretty humid....looks like I might be dancing too!!

                        On Satruday I'm cold smoking the bacon slabs I started last week and the salmon lox I started last weekend. Got lots of pics to post on those!

                          i barricade myself on the ramp of the trailer fortified w/ vodka & then it's ribs & fatty.
                          brink vertical charcoal(the carp)

                            well of course beans are always good under a butt, as are boxed scallopped potaters(cheatin a lil bit but...). let them catch some drippings and good stuff. throw a cuple big handfuls a cheese on top a them taters and let melt nefore serving. or/and smoke some stuffed onions...
