Guess my only thought would be that you're going to lose a lot of heat through that big ol' pane of glass.
Maybe a fully insulated door with a couple smaller windows might have made more sense.
What you using for a heat source ?
someAZdude 02-10-2012, 02:29 PM Sure looks nice. Good job dude!
rbranstner 02-10-2012, 03:20 PM Sweet smoker. I can't wait to hear how it runs. I am also interested in hearing how the window holds up and if it causes you to lose a lot of heat as I have a fridge with a glass door that I am working on converting into a smoker as well.
Yes lets see some more details on this baby.
there is no glass door on the smoker I didn't have the door installed yet in these photos, the door is made from wood. I'm running a propane burner for heat, amps for smoke.gonna give it a work-out in the am got 11.5 lbs of jerky marinating for the maiden voyage
Fire it up 02-10-2012, 10:58 PM Nice lookin build :thumb:
I thought there was glass on it too at first glance, thinking maybe you should take a calf (live of course) and let it swim/soak in some marinade for a few days and put that baby in there, nothing better than the freshest of fresh jerky  :noidea:
