  • Kentucky Derby?

Did anyone watch the Derby today?

I usually do not watch but I'm glad I did this time. The winner was a 50 to 1 horse from New Mexico. His trainer hauled him to the Derby behind his truck...took him 21 hours to get there and the horse blew them all away. :)

    I liked it.....a lot!

after a healthy diet of the new mexican hot peppers, he was trying to cool off abit. if you noticed his mouth was open and the air was going straight through. It kinda held the others back.lol.

It was awesome. If you didn't see it you need to watch a rerun on the news. This horse didn't beat em.... he slammed by damned whooooooped them. It was too cool to see a horse come from that far back in the pack to win. Looked like a crotch rocket weavin in and out of traffic on the interstate.

It was indeed an awesome race. If you saw the recap from the blimp shot, it looked like he was shot out of a slingshot. Great story also. Especially the jockey. 2 wins in three years, both on long shots. to the jockey if I could.

On edit, just noticed the blimp view at the 7:30 mark of the video T-H was so kind to put up for us.

No I didn't get to watch it, had to listen on radio. The radio announcers were sure excited thats for sure. 50 to 1 you can't beat that. Its great when such a long shot horse pulls it out. Just goes to show that the old saying, "on any given day", is a true statement.
