  • Smoked Stuffed Bacon Cheeseburgers W/ Heavy Q-view

hey everyone , we were going to a get together yesterday and i thought i would make some cheeseburgers , then i thought how about some stuffed cheeseburgers , then i thought how about Smoked Stuffed Bacon Cheeseburgers....and i tell you what...i am glad i did..wow these were good my kids and wife loved them they want me to make more today...now the only pic i did not get was the split and plated pic...i forgot my camera ....so let me show you what i got....

    the ingrediants

basically did like a fattie to begin with...3/4 cup of meat each bag ( next time i will use less because these things were HUGE )

all flatten out...8 bags for 4 burgers

1 flat layed out with seasoning salt

    next head country bbq sauce

    onions and peppers

    then bacon...

then a nice hunk of cheese

then top layer put on and sprinled with head country bbq rub and then shaped to keep the goodness in

all 4 layed out on the rack...the ones with the bacon on top is with onions and peppers the other 2 are with out for the kids

raining here today so i did this in the eve of my garage ...these are going at 240 with mesquite and pecan

the done pic getting ready to foil and leave for the get together...and then we forgot the camera so no money shot but it did happen....

again like i said my wife and kids loved these , they want more tonight for supper so i guess will have to see....i got the idea from walking dudes post here http://www.smoked-meat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1721
but just put my twist on it...i hope you all enjoy....

        doc those look good.

we make em here and call em gourment burgers, they are big. we started making them for a friend that had problems with gluten intake. (no buns for him)
just put all the num nums inside the burgers. they were a hit with all.

Those are what I call some amazin' stuffed burgers. I hadn't made any of them in years. Never did try to smoke them, but used to just grill them. I got so carried away (kinda like you) that nobody could eat the whole thing. Thanks for the pics.
