it looks more like an egg than the big green egg does. i know people the swear by their eggs and the quality of the products that are produced. is it an 18" diameter cooking surface?

the website says they are made out of steel - has my wondering if they are insulated at all...which is the biggest advantage a Kamado has (bye or otherwise)

yeah was gonna get the duo but when i laid my eyes on this with a 299 price tag.i kinda changed my mind...im really leaning towards it...it looks good and feels good..felt sturdy but not overly heavy..its insulated with standard oven insulation and porcelan coated on the inside with powder coating on the outside..has a oven rope type gasket between the lid...just wandering how they last but from what ive read its new to lowes but menards has had them in a red color..guesse ill be one of the first to find out

I don't know 2x the price of a Weber one touch gold, and roughly 100sq inches less cooking space.

well the guy at lowes says its 19 and ahalf inches from one side of the grate to the other...sounds like plenty of room for me

Looked at one the other day...Fine lookin unit considering the Chargriller brand...Dont get me wrong...I love my CGs...They do a great job for the price...Just not top quality...

The egg wannabe has the cast iron grates...Thats a plus...

yeah i agree,no its not 1,000 to 3,000 dollar quality like for some of the other true ceramic ones..but for 299 seems to be good quality..waiting on a liltle tax refund,then im off to get it..
