Especially the huge pro ones like they have on Iron Chef. I don't vac seal enough to warrant something like that but would love to see pics of yours. I have got an average of about 8 years out of mine, which I would consider pretty respectable overall. Post some pics of the new machine, would like to see it, sounds like a nice unit :thumb: dscott 02-24-2012, 12:52 PM I"ll try to post a video, wish I had the same experience with foodsaver but I"ve been through 3 of them. Killed one on a fishing trip, (moisture I guess), the other two the heat strips started going out and went completely out when I was marinating a loin. (Moisture again). Tried to buy replacements parts from foodsaver, and the only thing I recieved was an email stating replacement parts are not available, sorry for your trouble. here is a video from youtube.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&v=_GBAqIYILjk&NR=1 I watched one where you can even put canning jars in there with the lids loose and it will seal it. |
