  • Sweet Slaw

Here's the cole slaw I like to make. It's really good on PP sammies.

1 lb shredded cabbage-I like the Angel Hair when I can find it
    1/2 onion-diced
    1-2 carrots-shredded
    1/4 cup mayo
    1/8 cup yellow mustard
    1 tsp apple cider vinegar
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1/2 cup sugar
    salt to taste

mix everything but the cabbage in a lg bowl then add the cabbage. Mix it all together(works best to use your hands). Cover and refrigerate for a couple hrs. Serves 6-8 people.

Thanks Mark. My wife loves a good slaw. Me, not so much. Your recipe should score me points here at the house.

      Mark,

I'm doing some slaw this weekend. Was planning something a little different. BUT, since you've went and posted this I gotta give it a try.

                    looks good
lose the mustard and add a grated apple and it'd be pretty much my standard coleslaw recipe.

Never though to add mustard though - have to give that a try come bbq season. :-)

That looks like a great sandwich!! I've wanted some "crunch" and I bet the slaw would add a nice texture to the pp!!

                        Great recipe, Mark.
