  • Drums - Prior contents question???

Got a line on some drums...cheap and very close by. Look to be closed head, maybe he has some open head, which is what I'm lookin' for.
Only concern is the prior contents and I don't know if they are lined or not. CL addvert says contents was foam insulation for use in homes/buildings, some of them being water soluable. Any input from the UDS Corps would be much appreciated.

If i had to guess I would say they would have lining inside them because they had the chemical stored inside.
I know with a lot of things you can completely burn whatever remnants of the inside completely off but not sure if that's true for everything or not.
Found a guy close to here that had steel drums for $20 each and stainless for $150 each.
Always wanted a UDS, maybe it's time to finally get a drum.

My best advice would be to see if you can go take a look at them first if you aren't sure. I've never had to remove a liner but from the sounds of it they can be a pain in the butt.
