  • non smoking related - Horseshoe pitching

    I'm sure with all these fine folx that hang around a smoker that we have plenty of people interested in pitching horseshoes.

    Organized events like leagues and tournaments are held in every state. They are always looking for more people to participate. It doesn't matter your skill level, there is a place for the new pitcher as well as the long time pitcher, whether you pitch a flip or a turn.
    It's good clean fun, most everyone is very helpful.

    I moved this to Sports... as it is a sport...:{)

    Interesting side note... Smitty...of the pepper powder fame... is a state champion shoe tosser. Guy's scary good.

      Huh... Texas being the largest state out of the 48 here and there is only one club... And its a short lil drive of over 40 miles each way in THE worst traffic...Shame I would like to check them out..

            Woo Hoo... 2 pits within 35 miles of me...At least is a easier drive to the ones in McKinney and Little Elm

                I flip. 1 rotation is my goal usually. I pitch with the Snyder EZ-Flip shoe. 2lb9oz shoe.
