I thought I would try my MH sample on some ribs I also smoked 5 beef roasts, 3 of them may taste freezer burnt I cut the bad spots out.

My own rub which I added some cherry kool-aid
Right defore foiling. The MH got apple juice and appleton rum the cherry got white grape juice and rum
At this point I had to much busch light and forgot which was which. After unfoiling they got glazed. The cherry got cherry chipolte BBQ sauce and the MH got apple BBQ sauce that I made. Also did some taters in the smoker. Out of the 3 roasts only one tasted bad. I really liked the cherry ones, could've used less kool-aid though the MIL said they were good but to spicy, which they were not I don't like real spicy stuff this was perfect. I think she just needed something to complain about. The wife and MIL both loved the apple ones, which they were good I just need to tweek the recipe a little bit. Thanks for looking.
