    I thought I would try my MH sample on some ribs I also smoked 5 beef roasts, 3 of them may taste freezer burnt I cut the bad spots out.

    Roasts with magic dust

    MH sprinkled with turbinado

    My own rub which I added some cherry kool-aid

    Right defore foiling. The MH got apple juice and appleton rum the cherry got white grape juice and rum



    At this point I had to much busch light and forgot which was which. After unfoiling they got glazed. The cherry got cherry chipolte BBQ sauce and the MH got apple BBQ sauce that I made. Also did some taters in the smoker. Out of the 3 roasts only one tasted bad. I really liked the cherry ones, could've used less kool-aid though the MIL said they were good but to spicy, which they were not I don't like real spicy stuff this was perfect. I think she just needed something to complain about. The wife and MIL both loved the apple ones, which they were good I just need to tweek the recipe a little bit. Thanks for looking.

    OK... looks like you stole my camera... Well, too bad you forgot which were which, but if they all were good...well, winning!

      Taste I could tell the difference, I can't tell by the pics though. Your rub was good. And yes my camera phone sucks. I'd try the regular camera but I'm to computer stupid to figure out how to upload them.

            Looks like you had some good grub Hate when the booze make you forget what was what...been there a few times
            Keep those kool-aid ribs away from me Mum though, the carmine bug/cochineal beetle that makes it red gives her a horrible allergic reaction.
