    Pauly's Brew-B-Q Throw-Down 7/11-7/12 Lowel MI

    Wanted to let everyone know about a new KCBS santioned contest "Pauly's Brew-B-Q Throw-down".All the information can be found below. This a State Championship and qualifier for the Jack Daniels Draw.Also it is a Saturday/Sunday contest and also has other events going on for the whole family to enjoy.. Information including both contest or judging application and additional events can be found through the KCBS Website or:

        rough comp last week eh? I was thinkin about ya guys!
        Lookin forward to see you all again in July. Gonna work on my pork program while I cook multiple butts for 4 grad parties in a row in June!

          Great news Capt!!! We only live a few miles from Lowell so if you need anything, just let us know. "Rough week" is an understatement: stuck the SmoSco (RV) up to the axels in mud (took a 38,000 pound tow truck to get us out); then, knee deep mud the rest of the weekend. The comp itself didn't go much better; took one walk and finished in the middle of the pack....some days are diamonds and some days are coal. Upward and onward!! See you at Lowell

            Hey Theresa, long time no see!!! How ya' been?!

            I'd love to get out there for that event, butt we'll see... There is a chance that we might be in southern MI visiting my sis and bro. We haven't confirmed dates yet.

              Hi There Phil Been doing pretty well...thanks for asking! Please let me know if you are heading in our direction.....would absolutley love to see you!! If it does turn out to be that weekend...we only live 5 miles from the comp site

              BTW....How many grandbaby's in the count now Pop-Pop???

                  I seriously can't imagine what that must be like. Me and Walt still only have our one grandaughter...hoping for more but only time will tell. At least all of yours will grow up eating some great BBQ!!

                    I must say, I never expected to see 14 of the li'l critters! They range from 13 years old to 6 months old... pretty good mix. I am hoping for at least one or two of them to follow in my BBQ footsteps... and maybe even pick up some of my bad habits...

                      Gotta be a wild christmas around there. I can't imagine trying to keep all them birthdays figured out!

                        Christmas is somewhat busy for sure, but keeping up with the birthdays... that's my lovely bride's job!
