Did another Apple Cobbler today. Found the Lucks Fried Apples at WallyWorld.
Didn't drain the juice from the Lucks, but I will next time. Made the cobbler a little soupy. But in all, it was good ...

I keep a box of that "Minute Tapioca", which you can find about anywhere,
to add to my cobblers. As it cooks that stuff thickens the juices and sets up
a lovely cobbler.

I often add cinnamon, nutmeg, a shot of Jim Beams 8 Star to my Lucks apples from the can along with brown sugar. Fine flavor combo from an inexpensive 80 proof blended whiskey.
