  • Kumamoto Oysters

Was in Denver Saturday, stopped at the Whole Foods Store and dropped some bucks on provisions.

They had the Kumamoto Oysters on hand... had to have some!

Also picked up some wild caught Atlantic Oysters as well as some Pacifics.

Happened to be there when the fish truck showed up.... Chilean Sea Bass. Yum had them wrap up a nice fillet of the Seabass.......

In the meat section they had Speck... real speck, I usually have to make it myself. Good product so I grabbed a pound of it.

Could not contol myself while icing my oysters and ended up eating half a dozen of each on the half shell...... They were excellent!

Doing some grilling today.. pictures later!

              Lookin good Bbally!

Went to a wedding 2 weeks ago in Oysterville ,Wa. that sits on Wllapa Bay. They farm the Kumamoto there.

I think that we grilled right at 15 dozen for the reception. Probly ate 2 dozen raw myself while shucking the grilled ones. mmmmmmmmmmm
