  • Kamado Ceramic Charcoal BBQ

    Hey folks,
Well, I have great news. The father-in-law called asking questions about the Kamado Ceramic Charcoal BBQ. He seen one in Costco and he sounds interested. I'm interested in everyone's thoughts on these smokers. It looks like a great piece of equipment and comparable to the Big Green Egg, but better price than the BGE. Costco has them on for $699.99 CAN.

Everywhere I've looked suggests they are worth the bucks. What are your thoughts?
    Thanks,
    Greg

Hey Grog... long time no post...have mist ya!

I have seen that cooker, and it impressed me if it's the same one. Efficient as all get-out. Still- a ton of money, and a ton of body- but they seem to run OK.

The tile covered kamodos ive seen are top notch, id do one over a BGE in a second if that deal is legit.
Just because you welded some shit together doesnt make it a WSM.

Seen a few on CL for sale that are cracked. Something to consider is they weigh a ton & that they can & will crack if not properly taken care of.
