  • Horseradish venison burgers

First of all sorry no pics I didn't make these today just putting my recipes from scratch paper to notecards so the drawer is organized. This our favorite way to make venison burgers.

    1 lb ground venison
    1/4 c minced onion
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    Dash worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp ketchup
    1/2 c seasoned bread crumbs
    1-2 tbsp prepared horseradish
    1/2 tsp ground sage
    4 slices bacon
Mix all ingredients except bacon. Shape into 4 patties then wrap a piece of bacon around each patty. Use toothpick to secure bacon. Then onto grill until done. Thanks for looking.

Don't sound bad... a'tall. Bacon makes everything better! But..when yer grinding the vennie.. just toss in the 4 slices bacon for each patty and give that a run. grill as ya would a burger....

Imo the bacon kinda holds the burger together. Might have to try your way rich. They even make great meatballs

          Mmm meat balls...

But also..the fat and collegen in the bacon will help bind the lean vennie. Also, toss a quarter cup of oatmeal in a coffee grinder/blender to a powder and mix that in. (Thanks CA) Cheap and effective binder...
