    caught this blue catfish at wateree in s.c. this one weighed in at 32 lbs. atother one at 18 lbs,several between 3 to 10 lbs. got a lot of nice filets. returned the 32.&18 lbs.to the river.

        Wow---Nice Catties, two eyes!!!!

        We don't have big ones like that around here.

        Biggest ones in my neck of the woods would be maybe up to 15 pounds (rare), and that would be down in the Conowingo Dam (Susquehanna River) or maybe in the Delaware River, if you're lucky.

        But then again, around here the ones 2 pounds or less seem to be better eating.

                Nice !!! They don't grow that big around here unless you believe the stories about the giant cats that are supposedly at the bottom of the three rivers confluence in Pittsburgh. Makes for a great story but no way it's true. Good show on putting the big guys back.

                    30 + lbs is common here in Az for some of those big cats, largest one I have ever caught was about 25#'s long before I had a camera everywhere I went and before cell phones
