  • A few apple turnovers for a snack...

    Mad a few turnovers for a fishing trip a bit ago, used the same recipe that I use for apple pie. Used a sugar and egg wash to coat before baking.

                  Those look great!
                  I don't generally dig sweets but I do love things baked with fresh apples.
                  Might have to do some turnovers if we get a good apple harvest this year.
