I got my first order of MH rub last week and the package said General Purpose Rub. I smoked some ribs with it ant they turned out great, so I decided to try the "general purpose" feature out.
I was out mowing the lawn yesterday evening in the 112 heat and Mrs. Otis was fixing some dinner. She pulled out some Tilapia filets and had them waiting on the pan to go under the broiler, a favored method for us. For some reason, she always wants me to season the fish. She stepped out for a minute so I decided to try some of the MH on one side only so she wouldn't know to get her reaction. I added the usual spices - CBiNB spray, Garlic powder, onion powder, lemon & herb seasoning and pepper too. 4 minutes per side under high broil, quick & easy!
Well Rich, I can say without reservation that MH GP rub works great with fish too. Especially a light flavored fish like Tilapia. Got some halibut filets in the freezer that I'll definitely use MH on too.
