  • Peanut Butter Pie

    For those of you that have not tried this...Plus I pulled all my pics and posts form some other forum..



    1- 8 oz. Soft Cream Cheese
    1- 1/2 to 3/4 C. Sugar
    1 - 8oz. Cool Whip
    1 - C. Peanut Butter
    1 - Oero Cookie Pie Shell

    Blend the sugar and the cream cheese & peanut butter together... Mix well..

    Then, SLOW blend in the whip cream till smooth...






    Poor into pie shell and smooth out..... You can leave it plain or add chocolate sprinkles or syrup..







    Set in freezer for 4-5 hours or over night... Set out no more than 30 minutes before slicing...

                  Possibly best pie ever

                  Thanks for this recipe TH. Always meant to make one of these and i did yesterday. Man that is one tasty desert and very easy.

                  It's a shame i'm about the only one in the family that will eat it

                    This is a great one that we've had a few times now. To save on calories, we've gone to using Splenda (the one for one cooking type) instead of the sugar, and while it's not quite as good that way (after all, what tastes better than sugar? Well, maybe chocolate, honey, etc ), it's still fantastic!

                          I did actually divert from the original recipe a little ...... i really don't like cool whip, so i used heavy whipping cream instead (whipped of course). Oh and i made my own graham cracker crust.
                          Since then i have had the idea of mixing up a choc/cream/cream cheese mixture, adding that in globs and swirling the two together.

                          Either way, i defintiely recommend this pie !!!
