  • Pre made fattie question

Made some fatties Wednesday morning but ran out of time to smoke them. They are wrapped tight in the Saran wrap from the easy roll method and have been in a very cold fridge . They were stuffed with cooked Ham chunks and shredded cheese. The sausage and bacon were from unopened packages with a best if used by 8/13 on the sausage. Safe or no ?

Thanks guys. I prepared them on a sanitized lexan (i think) cutting board, wore latex gloves and the meat only touched the Saran wrap.

Yep definitely cook um up. the best if used date is really more of a marketing ploy to have us buy more food and throw out the rest. When you help out in food banks you will find most of the food has expired and they are feeding thousands (Sadly) Enjoy.

You might want to test them out on your in-laws first. If they live then chow down.
