I noticed the local Safeway had a bunch of them in.
Q: I've never picked up Hatches before, what can be done with them? Can they be frozen for future use like other peppers?

yes, they can be frozen that is how they keep. have to be roasted and peeled 1st. then into zip loc bags and into the freezer. carefull putting them into freezer baskets. they will wrap around the basket bars and are a sum beach to get out when frozen.
