  • Sourdough Cinnamon Crasin Bread

    Well, I got semi-ambitious today and put together some sourdough. Three loaves of the cinnamon craisin and two of regular white sourdough.

    All mixed and kneaded, in the bowl to rise.


    First rise.


    First three in the oven.


    First three 35 minutes later.


    Just had to cut one open and try it.


    A little closer look.


    The final shot ready to get bagged up.

    Looks great Keith. It's getting about time I make me a few loaves. Some of that cinnamon crasin would be just perfect tomorrow morning with a cup of coffee

                Keith that bread looks incredible. I'd definitely be on board with some cinnamon craisin all melted up with some butter like that - Perfect!

                  Thanks for all the kind words, folks. This bread is so much better than the store bought kind. I had a big slice of the regular loaf with my dinner tonight and it too was superb. Almost made me want to cook up a batch of venison chile.

                        Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
                        My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.
