It needed some modification. It's "depth" was not far enough to allow it to pull the door in. I spaced it out with a #8 flat washer I believe.Originally posted by Doug S. View Post

The bolt sleeve that keeps my latch shut just falls out on mine when it heats up. Gonna do a little JB Weld on it and fix it once and for all. Kinda annoying.New Braunfels Black Diamond

They don't seal correctly, and the latch is a PITA, but the smoker kicks ass. JMHO.
Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.
